Privacy policy

Reimel Motor Cars (“we”, “us”) runs reimelmotorcars.com and the tools we use to run the business. This policy says what information we collect, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use a form on this site (contact, consignment, valuation, finding a car) or email or call us, we keep what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, where you are, and details of the car you are buying, selling or asking about.
• Buying or consigning a car. If you buy, sell or consign a car with us we keep the details a sale requires, such as your address, the vehicle’s documents and the deal paperwork. Our separate customer privacy notice covers financing and other information regulated by federal law.
• Using this site. Like most websites we use Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and Mailchimp to understand which pages are read and how people find us. They use cookies; you can block or delete cookies in your browser.

How we use it

To answer you, to buy, sell, consign, store and ship cars, to keep the records the law requires, and to tell you about cars you may be interested in if you ask us to. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the people and services that help us do the above: for example our lenders and payment partners on a deal, transporters, Bring a Trailer and other auction or listing sites when you consign with us, our email and document-signing services, and our accountants. We share information when the law requires it.

Our YouTube channel and YouTube API Services

We publish videos on our own YouTube channel, Reimel Motor Cars. Our internal operations console uses the YouTube API Services to manage that one channel: to upload our videos, edit their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists, read the channel’s view and subscriber statistics, and read and reply to comments on our videos. It is used only by our own staff and only for our own channel. By using our YouTube content you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to what Google collects.

What the console stores from YouTube: video IDs, titles, descriptions, playlists, view counts and similar statistics for our own videos, and the public comments posted on our videos (the commenter’s public display name and the comment). If a comment asks about buying a car, a member of our staff may add it to our sales leads so we can answer. We do not use YouTube data for advertising and we do not share it with anyone else.

The console’s access to our channel can be withdrawn at any time, from the console itself or from the Google account’s security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When it is withdrawn, the sign-in is revoked with Google and the YouTube data the console stored (statistics, comments and cached channel data) is deleted within 30 days. Our own business records of which video shows which car are kept.

How long we keep information

For as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (vehicle sale records, for example, are kept for several years).

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law lets us, by writing to sales@reimelmotorcars.com or calling (610) 235-2416. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any of them.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
