OUR STORY
We don’t just sell cars. We live the hobby.
Chuck Reimel got into the car business more than 20 years ago with a high-volume wholesale operation. Over the years the most interesting cars, the ones that never got their due at a wholesale auction, kept ending up with him. About ten years ago he bought a building in Wayne and started offering those cars directly to collectors. That became Reimel Motor Cars.
On the lawn
We’ve shown a car at Pebble Beach every year since 2016. We’ve brought home multiple class awards, including Best in Class, and special awards such as Most Elegant Open. We’ve also shown at The Quail, Amelia Island, Moda Miami and the Greenwich Concours, along with many regional and local events.
On the road
We believe great cars are meant to be driven. We’ve run the Colorado Grand several times, along with the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic, which runs from the Seattle area down to Monterey for Car Week, and many other tours. Our personal collection goes from Brass Era cars to modern sports cars, and we drive all of them. We buy cars because they’re great to drive, not just great to look at.
How we buy
Every car we offer is one we’d keep ourselves. As Chuck puts it: “With unlimited space and money, I’d own every one of these cars and never sell them.”
How we treat your car
We treat every client’s car like our own. Whatever it’s worth, every car gets the same work and the same care in its listing. We think every car we sell is special, and our results speak for themselves.
