After the owner's passing, the Testarossa remained hidden in a storage unit for years, only to be rediscovered alongside two other classic Ferraris when the family was notified of the unit's status. In 2014, Algar Ferrari reacquired this time capsule, performing a full major service to bring it back to pristine, road-worthy condition before selling it to its second owner in Pennsylvania in 2015.

To achieve perfection, the second owner commissioned Algar Ferrari to address minor cosmetic imperfections, including a small scrape on the driver's door and front valance, with paintwork expertly handled by the renowned Karosserie in Wayne, PA (documented with photos and receipts). The warped instrument panel leather was also professionally repaired. During his stewardship, the second owner also upgraded the car with a desirable Tubi exhaust, enhancing the Testarossa’s already thrilling character. After enjoying the car until 2020, he traded it in for another Ferrari, but not before completing a fresh major service. The car was then briefly sold to a third owner in Illinois, who added virtually no mileage.

Drawn by nostalgia, the second owner bought the car back, becoming its fourth owner. Now, with a growing collection, he has decided to pass this remarkable Testarossa on to its next discerning caretaker.
