A paint-to-sample 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe with a seven-speed manual sold on Bring a Trailer on June 1, 2026. It was the highest Carrera S result on BaT from April through July.

This 992.1 Carrera S was ordered in paint-to-sample Oslo Blue over Truffle Brown Club leather with Chalk stitching, with the seven-speed manual, the Premium and SportDesign packages, a sunroof, PDLS+ LED headlights, Carrera Exclusive Design wheels, Bose, and heated and ventilated Sport Plus seats. The window sticker shows delivery to Isringhausen Imports in Springfield, Illinois, at $176,270. It had 6,000 miles when it sold.

It has also been modified: a Soul Performance exhaust and headers, and a Do88 intercooler kit, intake and plenum. Records indicate the car does not have catalytic converters. Removed parts came with the car.

Why we set a reserve

A nearly new 911 with a paint-to-sample color and a manual gearbox is a car with a clear floor. Buyers who want one can’t simply order another: the 992.1 is out of production, and a paint-to-sample car can’t be found on a dealer lot. A reserve made sure the car sold for what that combination is worth, rather than for what a standard-color Carrera S brings.

The 93-photo listing put the specification front and center and was plain about the modifications, including the missing catalytic converters, which matter to buyers in some states. The window sticker, owner’s manual, service records, removed parts and a clean Carfax went with it.

What the number means

Between April and the end of July, seven-speed 992 Carrera S coupes on Bring a Trailer sold between $135,000 and $162,500. The closest comparable, a 2,000-mile 2024 seven-speed, sold for $162,500 in July, and another 2024 seven-speed brought $155,000. One day after ours, a China Gray 2023 seven-speed was bid to $161,000 and didn’t sell.

Ours was the top Carrera S sale in the whole window, $5,000 over a car with a third of its miles. That’s the paint-to-sample premium, and a reminder that on late-model Porsches, the specification sets the price as much as the odometer does.

If you own one

The cars that bring top money on Bring a Trailer share three things: honest condition, complete paperwork, and a listing that answers questions before they’re asked. If you have a 911, a GT car, or any late-model Porsche you’ve been thinking about selling, we’ll tell you where it fits in the market and what we think it will bring. We’re a Bring a Trailer Local Partner and we handle everything from photography to the last comment.
