Reimel Motor Cars is proud to offer this 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS with only 28,529 miles. The car is finished in Rossa Corsa over Nero leather interior - with a rare combination of Daytona seats and standard fender flares.
This particular 246 GTS is recorded and documented by the factory as being the first Dino 246 GTS to be delivered with the "chairs" option (Daytona style seats) and still retains its original interior including the mousehair dash. The car was repainted in 1984 and shows remarkably well, with only minor patina. It is clear this well documented example has never been apart and the condition supports the current mileage. It is accompanied by its original books/poach, tools/jack and keys. It has been well cared for and serviced through out it life by very caring owners.
The first owner we have record of is VIcky Hayes of Springfield, Missouri owning the car from approximately 1974 to at least 1977. The car was sold to Robert Everett of White Plains, New York on January 16th, 1981. Ultimately, the car was sold to Herbert Wolfe of Pomona, New York on May 31st, 1985, and remained in his care until we purchased the vehicle from Mr Wolfe's estate nearly 37 years later.
It is rare to find such an original and well cared for 246 these days especially one with such great history. With this kind of history and its fantastic mostly original condition this would be a fantastic addition to any collection not to mention its consistent and recent servicing make this a amazing driver ready to hit the road.
